Yarn base: 44% Merino (22 micron) + 22,5% Cotton + 22,5% PA + 11% Silk
Each 100g skein has approx. 400m of yarn.
Recommended hook / needle size is 2mm – 3mm (I achieved a brilliant result using a 3.5mm hook. BTW: I used three skeins for a size 42 summer tee - pictures in blog).
I have tried to capture the colours as best as I can, but please be aware that colours may vary from those shown here, also due to screen settings.
All skeins are dyed in small batches, using professional acid dyes, which are fully exhausted during the process. After the dyeing-process the skeins are thoroughly rinsed (till no colour remains in the water) and washed. Depending on the detergent you use a slight amount of colour bleed may occur (see care instructions) in the first few washes, so always wash separately.
Chasing Rainbows : Hand-dyed yarn with wool, cotton, PA and silk
Even though the yarn has been superwash treated, I still recommend handwash, using a mild detergent without colour brightener. Bitter lessons of experience taught me not to use the off-the-shelf detergent for woollens. I rely on a specific washing agent, I dare not to mention, as not to come under suspicion of covert advertising.
Do not wring, but wrap in a dry towel and press the water out. Reshape while wet. Dry flat. Do not expose to direct sunlight whilst drying. Do not tumble dry.
Items sold are either single-item products or made in small batch series.

Al items are made in a smoke free home. We do have cats though. And even though the cats are not allowed into the studio you might reconsider your purchase for safety's sake if you've got problems with cat's hair or animal hair (allergies).
